GROOVIN” WITH MOM

Miss Laura is conducting a new class for children ages 2 – 4 years old that will give younger sibling a positive learning experience while their brothers or sisters take dance class. Each class will consist of a story being read aloud, a discussion about the story then a craft based on that story. NEW PROCEDURES
Billing

Each year we reevaluate what we are doing well and what can use improvements. We always look for the input from our parents and students with what will help make this a more enjoyable experience. Many have express the concern that our tuition policy of first and last collection in August right as they are preparing for School has cause financial burdens with the registration fee and the first costume payment. So we have decided to implement a new payment plan this season. Each family has one $25 dollar registration fee. The families’ yearly tuition will be due in 10 monthly payments; each tuition payment will be collected from Aug 15th 2007 thru May 15th 2008. This plan does not require a doubled up payment thus relieving some of the start up cost burden. Costume will remain as four equal costume payments which are due from Aug 15th 2007 thru Nov 15th 2007. We hope this will help ease the transition back to school for all.

Recital Length

We are still evaluating some options to shorten the overall length of each recital. We have in the mean time decided to hold only two recitals this spring of 2008 one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Two shows will eliminate some problems that have been topics of discussion for the last two or three years; first our older students who are in many numbers are generally dragging by the Sunday show and secondly we feel the students will all benefit from two fuller houses rather then three smaller audiences. They all work so hard for that applause and recognition we would like to reward that with a nice full house. T o ensure more performance opportunities for all our students, we are currently booking more SOHAJ shows and some other performances for the school year.
